Īko (AKA Megan Stumpfig) is an abstract-realist painter from Bend Oregon. She completed her BFA at Portland State University in 2012 with a split focus in oil painting and printmaking.

Between the years of 2018-2025 she has shown her work at Envision Gallery, Lightning in a Bottle, Dreamscape Gallery, as well as painted murals in Oregon and California.

The concept that nothing in this universe is static, and that everything is dynamic and interconnected — is a potent catalyst for the diverse rhythm of patterns, colors, textures, and composition that emerges through her creative process, through oil painting, acrylics, watercolor, printmaking, murals, and other mixed media. Honoring a curious spirit has led to experimentation through a diversity of mediums over the years, and is reflective of her nomadic lifestyle, having travelled extensively throughout Central and South America, as well as the West Coast of the U.S.

Her subjects often include animals and their symbolism, portraits, the natural world, and more recently a deeper dive into exploring astrological archetypes and the ancient wisdom of the Zodiac as a powerful means of self-reflection and inner knowing.
